The basis for the technique has been used in practices for thousands of years. Consciously Resting Meditation is positive, rejuvenating, and relaxing for the mind and the body.
3. Is a dedicated space required to practice Consciously Resting?
Consciously Resting can be practiced anywhere. However, the ideal location would be in the quietest space in your workplace, dorm, home, etc.
4. Is there a best time to Consciously Rest?
It is recommended that you consciously rest twice each day – 20 minutes first in the morning and 20 minutes in the early evening. Of course this will depend upon your schedule and preference. For example, an organization may wish to begin each work day with a 20 minute session before the first meetings of the day. If 20 minutes is not possible, consciously rest for 10 minutes, or use whatever time is available. Any time devoted to Consciously Resting will be beneficial.
